We do not go out very much on purpose, not because we don't want to, but because we are constantly disappointed with prices, services, the bad manners of other people and the general irritation of how I am treated as a non-Greek. The same with takeaway -- the food is little, quality is bad, and very overpriced.

Therefore, we do what you say. We boycott these things because we do not accept them and save our money to go outside Greece. I constantly tell people that they have power as consumers to not give their money to keep poor quality businesses running, but they feel apathetic and without other options. Sure, the politicians can do something, however we can speak louder with our euros.
